Release 2012.09.20.00

#1

Does your EZ-Robot need faster Face Tracking? High Resolution Realtime Video? Custom Haar Tracking? Updated Camera Control? Transparent Grid Lines? And more?

Okay! This is the last update of EZ-Builder for a few days, because I need to sleep. I don't know how I did it, but this has been a very productive week of releases. This release is a complete re-write of the camera control. You will notice an updated interface, new options and a new layout. The new layout is much easier to navigate and supports the new High Resolution Realtime Video display.

In the next while, I am working on a custom Haar Cascade Trainer built into EZ-Builder. This means you will be able to train objects to be recognized in EZ-Builder. Right now, you can use existing Haar Cascades definitions for tracking.

Changes:
- New ControlCommand()s (CameraViewProcessed, CameraViewRealtime)
- High Resolution Realtime Video
- Adjustable transparency on Grid Lines for Processed Video
- Custom Haar tracking
- Updated Camera Control Layout
- Camera Snapshot saves high resolution images

Hey DJ,

Sounds like you've been REAL busy!

is this Haar tracking for faces? or objects? I am guessing documentation/videos will follow.

Well done on the updates!

DJ that sounds cool except I can't get EZ-Builder to run now

Get some sleep and then take a look at this error below

Cheers

Unfortunately, ez builder won't run for me either. Frown

It happens right away upon launch of EZ builder. I am on Win7 home premium. Toshiba dual core, 64 bit. 4 GB ram. 1/2 TB hard drive.

Please do get some sleep. I'll just revert back to an earlier version.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

HI DJ

Same here , not working any more.

Steve_C.

#7

Great job DJ, an update every day, is incredible! I have not tried it yet but I'm sure the latest version soon to fix it, as always.
Also, with so much work I think it's normal that something is not working, is purely statistical, what matters is the end result. Smile

#8

same problem...

#9

Sometimes you need to reboot your computer when strange things happen

#10

Actually I take that back. It looks as if the upload to the server was corrupt lol. Strange that it still installs! Anyway, I uploaded the file again and this time it's good to go Smile

Redownload EZ-Builder and install. If you have already installed this version, you may receive an error that it is the same version during install. So you may need to use Programs and Features in the Control Panel to remove the software first Smile
