Rover with Front Gripper and Elastic Launcher

This rover includes a joystick controlled robot arm on the front for picking up foam balls. The back includes an elastic band turrent. The turret is adjustable with the joystick to aim vertically. The camera will automatically move up and down with the front arm, so you may always have a view of the gripper and while driving.

Introduction

EZ-Robot Revolution Software Apps include assembly instructions for your robot. *Note: When connecting servos to the EZ-B, pay attention to match the colors. Just like your home theater, the BLACK wire of the servo connects to the BLACK side of the EZ-B pins. Here is a video.


Servo Orientation

Keep a close eye on the EZ-Bit's physical features so you can identify the orientation. In this example, notice the direction of the servo with recognizable features of the real physical EZ-Bit in your hand. If you connect an EZ-Bit backward, your robot will behave funny and not work as expected - but might be worth the laugh!

  1. Connect HBridge PWM Left (Green) to Digital port D0
  2. Connect HBridge Left A (Blue) to Digital port D1
  3. Connect HBridge Left B (Purple) to Digital port D2
  4. Connect HBridge Right A (Grey) to Digital port D3
  5. Connect HBridge Right B (White) to Digital port D4
  6. Connect HBridge PWM Right (Black) to Digital port D5
