Plugin Details

Any USB Camera or EZ-B v4 Camera video feed will be displayed through the Oculus Rift screen. The output image will be the same as from the Camera Device display, with tracked objects, etc..

The Oculus Rift has an accelometer, which this plugin will use the to move servos of your robot. When you move your head, the specified servos of your robot will move, respectively. This has been tested with the Oculus Rift DK2.

To look left and right, tilt your head left and right - rather than turning left and right.

*Note: Until the Oculus SDK and product is consumer stable, this plugin is compiled against Oculus Configuration Utility 1.7 (SDK 0.6.0.1). Download the Oculus 0.6.0.1 runtime here: https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/pc/0.6.0.1-beta/Oculus_Runtime_for_Windows/

Rift Mode
The driver uses the Extended Desktop Mode for the Oculus Rift. This option extends the desktop into the Rift's viewport. The setting in the control allows you to select which desktop the Rift viewport is displayed. If you have a single monitor, then the Rift desktop will be display #1.
