attached blk and red to ext power white to ez-b open server controller no response.

You blew the EZ-B if you applied high voltage to the EXT Power lines. Can you be more specific of what you had done?

ok dj i just figured it out. i did not connect all the gnds. i neglected to connect to the ez-b's grnd. it now works perfectly. thank you for such a quick response. its so refreshing to see a fellow business owner so involved with his product and service, i thought i was the only one. thanks again.

Just double check like DJ said , don't apply more than 5v to the " external power" connection on the board. You want external power separate from ezb all together together if you use a voltage higher that 5v.
